La Chaumiere used to be a large traditional hotel that has now been completely renovated. It now comprises of luxury, self contained apartments brand new for the 2007 season. These are all built to a very high standard and include full kitchen facilities, dining and living areas and each have access to a balcony or terrace. They all share a large communal sun terrace with Jacuzzi, and the ground floor of the building has a large sauna room for use by all the guests.
Mountain bikers are well catered for at La Chaumiere with a huge garage under the building that has bike washing facilities, workbench and lockable bike storage.
Located in a quiet development only a short 2 minute walk (300m) from the town and lifts, it is ideal for all the town's amenities but benefits from being away from the traffic and bustle of a town centre.

Les Gets
Les Gets is based just up the road from Morzine and is linked within the same chairlift network. It has an international reputation as a Mountain Bike resort and is synonymous with Downhill racing, having hosted numerous world cup events and the 2004 World Mountain Bike Championships.
Les Gets itself is a traditional 'nucleated' mountain village with a recently regenerated and updated centre. It is formed around a main high street and offers bars, restaurants and shops of all descriptions, along with some good night spots, for when the bikes go away and you want to relax with your friends.
